Facebook Inc said it has resolved a glitch that exposed passwords of millions of users stored in readable format within its internal systems to its employees.
Facebook announced that “hundreds of millions” of users’ passwords had been stored in unprotected plain text accessible by the company’s employees.
The massively popular social network went down early afternoon with issues popping up across Facebook proper, Facebook Messenger and Instagram.
