Nipsey Hussle’s family is politely declining any fundraising efforts to support his kids because Nipsey made sure they’d be financially set for the rest of their lives.
The new court, called “Nipsey Hussle Memorial Basketball Court,” is in the rapper’s neighborhood of Crenshaw. It sits just four blocks from where Hussle was killed.
A celebration of the life of Nipsey Hussle kick-started on Thursday morning, where more than 20,000 people flocked to the memorial to pay their respects to the slain rapper.

Nipsey Hussle will be honored with a memorial service at the Staples Center. Tickets will be available for the event through a website. Only ticket holders will gain admission.
Hussle averaged close to 2 million audio streams before his death. Sales for Hussle’s songs jumped from 1,000 to 14,000 on Sunday, The next two days he sold 58,000 and 36,000 singles.
The L.A. County D.A. charged him with 1 count of murder, 2 counts of attempted murder and 1 count of possession of a firearm by a felon. Holder faces the possibility of life in prison if convicted.

A petition has been created to name the intersection of Crenshaw Boulevard “Nipsey Hussle Way.” The intersection is where Hussle’s store The Marathon Clothing is, and it’s where he was killed.
After a nearly 48-hour manhunt, police arrested the suspect they say gunned down Nipsey Hussle in front of the popular rapper’s South Los Angeles clothing store.
