The embattled singer was told last month that he had to honor his years-long agreement with Andrea Kelly to give her $20,800-a-month as he was released from custody.
Since then, he has not paid her despite earning more than $20,000 for a nightclub appearance and performing at a $100-a-ticket show.
He is facing sexual assault allegations in a separate lawsuit.
Kelly, 52, was jailed twice earlier this year; once for the sexual abuse allegations and once for unpaid, backdated child support.
The judge in the second case said they would hear arguments about why the amount he pays Andrea a month should be lowered but not until May 8.
Until then, he was told he had to meet the full, $20,800-a-month amount.
The pair have three children together who Kelly is estranged from. They are Jay, 19, Joann, 21, and Robert Kelly Jr., 17.
As of yesterday, the singer had just -$13 in the bank, despite his new appearance fees, after having money seized by his landlord, it was reported.
