Crisco Cops” Are Greasing Poles Around Philadelphia to Prevent Eagles Fans From Going Crazy

Philadelphia sports fans aren’t the most well-behaved bunch. For example, last week, one fan punched a police horse. Tonight, the Eagles host the Vikings at Lincoln Financial Field for the NFC Championship and city officials are already taking precautions to keep the impending celebration/riot at bay around the city.

Dubbed the “Crisco Cops,” a group of Philadelphia officials spent their Sunday morning lathering street poles in oil to prevent rabid, blackout drunk fans from climbing them as they pour out of the bars and into the streets after tonight’s game.
