During the protests, Kenyan police killed at least 33 people in Nairobi alone and injured hundreds.

Silas Lebo was a 17-year-old student. He and his friends were beaten by eight police officers during house-to-house operation.

Lebo died of his injuries the next day.
The Kenyan authorities should ensure the those responsible for unlawful use of force are held to account.
