Climate Warming In Alaska Is Growing Twice As Fast

Alaska is warming about twice as fast as the rest of the United States and is on its way to the warmest year on record due to its proximity to the Arctic.

A recent NY Times article states that the gov’t has identified over 31 towns at imminent risk of destruction. Experts are predicting that some villages will be uninhabitable by 2050.
