A Record-Breaking Eagle Hunter

This 13-year-old’s dream is to become a record-breaking eagle hunter.

Aisholpan Nurgaiv lives in a nomadic community in Mongolia, where fathers pass on the tradition of training golden eagles to their sons.

While the elders in her community insisted that a woman can’t hunt, Aisholpan was prepared to prove them wrong. Her story is the subject of a new documentary called The Eagle Huntress, which has already been shortlisted for an Oscar.
