There are 1.8 billion people in the world still drinking dirty water.⠀ ⠀ For some of us, it may be hard to wrap our minds around what that even means. Every day, children wake up wondering where their next drink of water will come from. Hospitals are forced to perform unsafe procedures due to lack of access to clean water to sanitize their medical instruments. People die from water borne illnesses that could have been cured by the simple act of hand washing with safe water.⠀ ⠀ But at @healing_waters we have hope, we have a solution, and we want you to be a part of our mission to end the global water crisis!⠀ ⠀ Visit our website to read about the ways you can be involved and how you can change someone's life forever: healingwaters.org⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ PC: @karleemikkelsonphotography ⠀ #cleanwater #cleanwaterforall #hope #hopeforthefuture #globalwatercrisis #communitydevelopment #makechange #bethechange #givingtuesday
